Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident trying Exam Coach. This policy explains when and how we issue refunds for paid subscriptions.

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you subscribe to a paid plan and are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of your initial payment and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

1. Monthly Subscriptions

You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial subscription payment. After this window, monthly charges are non-refundable.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges and you retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period.

2. Annual Subscriptions

You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial annual payment. After this window, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription (calculated in whole months remaining) within the first 60 days of the billing period.

After 60 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the term.

3. Renewal Charges

Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) are not eligible for refunds. We send a reminder email 7 days before any annual renewal so you have time to cancel if you no longer wish to continue.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@examcoach.io with the subject line Refund Request and include:

  • The email address associated with your account.
  • The date of the charge you would like refunded.
  • Optionally, a brief reason — this helps us improve the product.

We aim to process all refund requests within 3 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.

5. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Requests made after the eligible refund window has passed.
  • Charges for add-ons or one-time purchases (if applicable in future).

6. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law (e.g. EU/UK Consumer Rights Act, Australian Consumer Law). If your local law provides stronger protections, those apply.
